TIP: Be sure to use only floating pellets to feed your koi and goldfish. Remove any uneaten pond fish food that may be floating on the surface after 5 minutes. If these floating pellets are not removed, they will begin to nourish algae and encourage the rapid growth of this intruder. 

Pond owners located in northern climates should be aware that koi and goldfish stop feeding when water temperatures drop below 50 degrees Fahenheit. In warm weather, it is advisable to use Growth Formula fish food for best results.

If water temperature is consistently above 60 degrees but below 70 degrees, two times daily during the warmest part of the day.
